ObamaNation

In the US Presidential elections of 2008, Barack Obama (@BarackObama) ran on a platform of "change." This piece finds Twitter messages sent to @BarackObama which contain the word "change" and then analyzes those tweets using the EmoTe API to determine their overall mood and emotions. As each new tweet is displayed, the image of President Obama will show a slight emotional reaction based upon the valence of the message.
